speeds 1-3 were the same, speed 4 was nothing, and speed 5 was wide open.
I was told to take the head apart and provide the three different color wires with 12v to see if you get a speed change to test the speed coils...
Well, first off I took the two bolts out, and the cap of the lower unit came off, but the other two parts wont come apart...they come apart enough to see inside there, but I now cant get them all the way apart, nor can I put it all back together.
No matter how hard I push or twist, with the cap and everything...there is about an inch or a bit less of space to where it wont close up.
Can anyone help me here on how to test the coils. and / or put it back together and what I may be doing wrong?
