Brand new clarion died

My son installed a new clarion AM/FM/CD radio in my boat, the marine grade with waterproof speakers. paid 150 bucks on e-bay. Well it played great for a whole weekend!! It woke my daughter in law up Wed. morning making a noise like you hear from feedback from a microphone, a high pitched noise, then it died!!! He went to school to install radio's in cars so I figured he knew what he was doing. The only thing I saw was he hooked the power source up the the ignition system so that when you turned the motor off the radio would go off too. <br /><br />Anybody know what we did wrong with what info I gave you. He is going to send it to the factory to see if we can get a new one. Thanks in advance.<br /><br /> Jersey Bill

Well, maybe he didn't do anything wrong. Might just be bad luck and you'll have it replaced under warranty.<br />Sh|t happens, ya know
