Rocker Switch

I need a simple on and off Rocker switch for my new LED lights. But I am not sure which one to buy, I plan on buying from IBoats.com

This is the Style I need because it matches the others and I think this is the one?

Switch, Contura, Off-On, DPST, Black - Blue Sea Systems 8287 - iboats

That will work fine. It's more switch than you need, so you will have two terminals not used, but will work just fine.

I'll add also, you really only need a spst, if you can find one cheaper.

Pole = circuits it can control

Throw= number of contact positions
