From what I can find Garmin doesn't make a thru-hull transducer for the 100. Could call Garmin (800) 721-1373

You could possibly mount it inside and have it shoot thru the hull but then you would loose the temperature reading. You could add some water to your bilge and place the transducer on the hull and hold it there with a bag of rocks or sand. May have to move it around to find the best spot for all speeds.

I don't know what type of boat you have but mine had in the owners manual the install location of where to put the transducer if you were going to shoot through the hull. As for temp you will get it, it will just take a bit for the hull temp to match the water temp.
