Standard horizon cp-180 toubles

I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on this problem. I have a standard horizon cp-180 with an outside antenna. Left the marina with all ok, hit hard on a wave about a mile from my starting point, lost all satellites and it has never been able to pick them back up. I have reset the system and still no sat's. Does anyone have any ideas on this. I will be calling the manufacture this week to see what they say.
