I have a Clarion Marine amp. I really don?t know what?s wrong with it other than it has some sort of internal failure. It has good power/ground. The ?ready? light was on. The fuse is fine. It recognizes the signal from the headunit. But it would not send a signal to the speakers (of any strength: at full volume I could hear the speakers, although they were VERY faint). Since I have no idea what it might be I need some advise of having it repaired versus buying a new unit. Also, if I were to buy a new amp, and I bought the same watts, etc, would the sould be appreciably better? Thanks
