I have a W75 - the key chain remote works fine, but the foot control is iffy at best - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It is sitting right beside the t.m so distance isn;t an issue. I put a brand new battery in it and still have the same problem. i have even held it in my hands and worked it......Say I want to go left, I will push the left button and nothing happens. I will keep pushing it over and over and then it will finally get a signal. It seems like it will then work fine for about 10 minutes and then stops again.
is basically worthless as it is.
I actually had it tucked away and pretty much never even used it but I have misplaced my key chain remote so am basically without a trolling motor until the new one gets here as i can't trust the foot control.
Are there contacts i can clean or something ?
