Confused on wiring conversion from fully automatic pump to a pump with a switch.
Three wires coming from harness to bilge area : Solid Brown. - Hot all the time.
Brown/White - Hot when switched on dash is turned on.
Solid Black - ground I assume
Two wires from Rule Pump : Solid Brown
Solid Black
Two wires from Rule-a-Matic Switch : Solid Gray
Solid Gray
Instructions that came with it are not clear to me. Can anyone tell me on which ones to hook together. I just seem to be having a mental block. I can figure out if I want it to work with the float switch only, or manual dash switch only, but not together.
Also, the switch on the dash is an Off/On Switch only, not an On/Auto/Off .
