I have a Furuno 1850wdf gps/sonar unit that I have been having trouble with the temp readings being way on the high side of the scale. I replaced the multi-transducer (525) and it worked fine for a few weeks. I replaced the transducer again and the same happened again, after 4-6 weeks in the water the temp readings would peg all the way to the top of the scale. I would like to know if anybody has had the same problem as I have with a Furuno 1850 unit with the 525 multi transducer.. it's a transducer with speed and temp..... I do not want to go for another 100+ dollars for a new multi. sounder and speed indications are normal
