2 diagrams ...please????

i recently bought a new trolling motor..and fishfinder.... now the t. motor is a 24 volt... so i need diagram to hook the batteries up... and also.. can i hook my 12 volt fish finder up to them without hurting it? if so how?
thanks for anybodys help on this,.. i dont want to hurt my new setup

Here ya go -- one diagram answers both of your needs. You bought a "new" trolling motor so you should follow the wiring instructions that come with it. Yes - you can power the locator (it is not a fish finder regardless what the book says) but be aware that some locators have interference issues when powered from the troller batteries. Note that the battery on the LEFT is used to power accessories (such as your locator). Be certain to use that battery to avoid an accidental grounding issue that would otherwise destroy your locator. I will assume you realize you need a dual bank on-board charger or a larger single output portable charger to charge those batteries! And don't even ask if you can charge them from the engine.
