I recently purchased a new boat equipped with a Raymarine C70 MFD - which has GPS, radar and sonar. I am having issues with my digital sounder going out randomly. For example, while at my home dock the sounder works just fine, but 300 yards out of the slip and the sounder goes out...No Data Available. However, the next day I will take it out and will have no issues with it all day.
I have replaced both of the batteries, thinking it was a power problem, but I am still having issues. The GPS and Radar work just fine. Has anyone else had issues like this? Could this potentially be a software issue or something screwy with the transducer? Any help is much appreciated.
