Windlass power question

I was thinking about putting a lewmar pro-sport 550 windlass on my boat. I have a dual battery setup already but my engine is a Mercury 125 and the charging system only puts out 18amps. In the product specs it says 150w ( 150w\12v= 12.5a). But then it says Current draw at working load: 35a. If a device draws more current than the charging system can put out will I end up frying a regulator, stator, or other device involved with charging system or will the extra current just be provided by the batteries?

Spec for Windlass.

Thanks in advance for advice.

Re: Windlass power question

yes the extra current will come from the battery and it will then get re charged when the engine runs ...will not fry or overload the system.
