The unregulated D C volts & amps is cooking my batteries.

Is there a ready made unit ? Or do I have to build my own ?

Thanks.

Silly me.

I just assumed.
If there was never one installed by the factory when I bought it new, there would not be one available.

Silly me.:)

Tried our Marine site for a 9.9 regulator. Not found yet.

If you know what I am doing wrong to find it. Please tell me.

Problem with building one its a series regulator and gets hot .so maybe the bought one is the way to go ..you could use a 7012 and a 2N3055 and build your own ..you need a 14.4v cut off voltage for your battery .....OR as it dont have much output why not put some 10A diodes in series with the charge lead each will drop it 0.7v

Neat fix for a problem that kills thousands of batteries each year.
