How to replace the fuel sensor on a 21 foot 2003 Seaswirl with a 2003 200 hp Yamaha 2

I have a 2003 21 foot Seaswirl center console with a 2003 200hp Yamaha salt water series fuel inkected 2 stroke engine. What type of fuel sensor should I order and how do I go about replacing it. Thanx.

Are you talking about the sending unit in the tank?

Have you actually diagnosed the sender as faulty? If you have, then the next step is to gain access to it. The senders are very generic and as long as the mounting holes are the same, length is all you need to be concerned about. Some senders are adjustable for length. You can get your new sender right here on iBoats. You disconnect the battery, disconnect the wires at the sender (mark them or take a photo), remove the mounting screws and pull the sender from the tank. Reverse the procedure to install the new one.
