I am new on this forum. I have a problem with my raymarine system.
The system setup i have is an e series screen and an st6002 smartpilots. The boat is 8m and does about 40knts
The auto pilot is very instable and nervous. Sometimes it makes 15 - 20 degree turns all of a sudden. This is quite anoying when you cruise att 30 knts.
Also, the curse in the e series screen and on the autopilot differs from each other with about 5 to 20 degrees.
What could be the problem. is the compas malfunctioning? or is it some kind of a system faliure?
