Furuno Display

I just bought a boat with a Furuno FCV-582L depthfinder. The dispaly is bad - you can just make out the edges, but the screen is all messded up in the middle. Is it possible to have just the display replaced? I hate to spend another $1500 to replace the entire unit.

You can change just the display but your looking @ close to $1K to do that. You can pick up a used one for a lot less. Better yet, get a new FCV 620 for @ $700
