I Have a 16 foot bass boat I need to re-wire. I would like to know what kind of wire I would need and just a general setup. I need to wire in my bow light, stern light, bilge pump, and livewell. ideas?

Do a search in this forum. There are many diagrams for nav lights, bilge pumps (with and without automatic float switches), and livewells. In a nutshell it goes like this. Red and Black wires (10 gauge) from battery to fuse panel. Fuse panel to switch. Switch to device. Ground from device to ground buss.

as silvertip said, 10 gauge to fuse box . then 14 gauge should be fine for pumps 16 or 18 gauge for light.you can never use to low a gauge wire. i would fuse each one as close to power source as posible.curcuit breaker close to battery for 10 gauge then to fuse box, I don't recommend bus bar, each item then gets its own fuse, this will make trouble shooting much easier if ever needed
