Raymarine C120 + Raystar 125 GPS

I bought a Raymarine C120 set (Raystar 125 gps antenna+radar antenna) for my boat.
The C120 comes with seatalk and a NMEA wire. Which one is best to connect the gps antenna? The manual of Raystar 125 says that both of them can work with c120.

I connect them using the NMEA system that way I can send NMEA data directly to the VHF radio and the display at the same time. Don't forget that you need to supply switched 12 volt power to the antenna as well.
