Mercury Thruster Plus Fuse ?

I picked up two used Mercury trolling motors. One is a thruster plus and the other is a thruster II. What size fuses should I run on these? I have some hefty 40, 50 and 60 ready to go but I cant find any info on these old trolling motors.

The thruster II has alligator clips that appear to be original but I want to fuse it anyway.

The thruster plus just has bare wires.

This weekend I want to get all my wiring setup.

You will be safe if you add 10 to the thrust of the motor. (40A for a 30# motor, 50A for a 40# motor and 60A for a 50-55# motor). Resettable circuit breakers are a better option than fuses but if that's what you have, use them.
