Does anyone know how to test the livewell timer in an 89 Tracker? The rocker switch on the dash seems to be working OK, and fills the livewell just fine. In the auto mode it never comes on. I think I see the unit way up under the dash, but don't want to start tearing things apart until I'm sure. Does any one have a part number for the timer, so I can scan the internet for a replacement?

You can try calling tracker btu I would be pretty shocked if they had a part for a 20 year old boat unless they are still using a timer on new boats.

Boats aren't like cars where there is an endless supply of parts, nomally companies will only buy enough parts for that model year and anyhting left is kept for a year or two then junked.

Your best bet is to look after market, probably cheaper too.

Just checked the iboats store and they have several at a very good price.

My last three boats have had Rig Rite livewell timers. They are inexpensive and work very well. Just remove your old unit and pop in the new one. It's all in one package so there is minimal wiring to deal with.
