Ive been lost in the battery shops tryin to find the best priced and most durable and powerfull single 4d battery for my boat in this size. Now i am getting close, and narrowing it down to a gell cell totally maintanance free type. The 1 im in favour of has roughly 700cca 110ah so i think it would be ok for my application . The only thing that Ive heard is this type of battery is very sensitive to charging up , will the charging system im my 1994 120 2 stroke johnson be able to keep up with the requirements to recharge this type of battery? In my manual it says 3/9 amp is the output 3 being idle speed ,9 at operatin or wot. any thoughts, any experience with these types of power systems ? Thks.......Leo
