connecting garmin gps152 to silva s10

can anyone help i have a garmin gps 152 that i have wired up and working just by connecting a live and earth. I have just got a silva s10 and wired that up with a live connect and earth. How can i wire the two together there is a connection on the silva that has a red and black wire that it says for connecting to gps. Do i connect these to the live and earth connection of the gps or do they connect to any of the spare wires eg yellow, white etc of the gps

You need to find out which wire from the GPS is the transmitter and which is the common

Same thing on the other unit the GPS transmitter wire would connect to other units receive wire and the common wire also has to be connected


For what ever reason everybody uses different wire color codes which makes it much harder than it should be
