Standard Horizon Depth sounder trouble

Speed and Temps are fine... depth reads 2.5 feet all the time, both in digital or graph modes.

Any way to check the transducer? Resistance reading or something?

Clean the transducer. Scum and crud can affect readings. Disconnect the transducer cable at the head unit. Check it for corrosion. Check transducer resistance. I have no idea what it should read but it would likely be quite low. If it shows open circuit its probably toast.
