have 2-12 volt batteries that are separated (one on each side of the boat) and was going to use a separate charger for each battery. was going to use a minnkota MK-106d single bank charger foe each battery. can't seem to find room for a duel bank charger and would have to run a long extention for one of the batteries. already have one MK-106d so the price saving is good. do I connect each charger as I would to a single battery?

yes.

pos and neg from charger to the pos and neg posts on the battery.
Then the same thing with the other battery.

thanks, I don't know why I found this difficult to understand, I think the idea of placing the positive from the charger to the positive on the battery that is connected to the negative scared me. thanks again roscoe

The dual battery chargers have charge circuits that are independent of each other which is why you can do that.
