Stereo for the liberator.

It's time to get some insight for the next winter project. I need to upgrade my stereo system in my 88 211 liberator because the old stuff is gone. I have a head unit and some 6x9's but under the back seat there are 10" cut outs. My problem is I need something that sounds good in the boat cruising and something while either on the beach or in the water. Help please.

Are these cutouts under the seat, facing fwd or under the seat as in facing up in a compartment? if facing fwd, Speakers that fit the hole would work, If they are in a compartment, they are subwoofers I think for the Boom Boom sound. They should be Marine grade speakers or water-resistant type so they don't go bad from getting wet.

They're cut outs facing forward under the back seat. I'm leaning towards clamp on speakers to side railing. And putting the 6x9's in the sides.
