raymarine sounder

hi i have a raymarine e series mounted sounder that stopped working checked wiring seems ok put multi meter probs in the holes of cord that screws in the back of sounder ,it read 12.47 still nothing put in to marine electrician checked ok said he updated stuff ,and still not showing anything .any feed back most welcome .

Unhook everything except power and see if it boots

So you verified that you had power going to the unit, thsts good, but ehat does nothing mean?
is the screen black?
does the screen have color, but not showing a bottom trace?
if the marine electrician updated the software, and the display was working, the transducer might be bad.
how old is the unit?
do you have anything else going to the unit, ie:gps?, if so is it working?
What did the marine electrician say?

thanks guys for feed back let you know how it goes . but still nothing black screen trying to get hold of eleco to find some more info.

found problem it was the main power cord. the two holes that are on the cord that screws on back of unit i scored them with very small file, then sprayed with inox plugged back in bingo worked fine.
