Boat has three fuel tanks each with its own fuel gauge on the dash. The manual tank selector is buried under the cockpit floor. I would like to have an electrical selector switch where I can select which tank from the helm. Flip a switch and I'm using tank 1, etc. Anyone have suggestions or experience in doing this and what manufacturers sell these switches? Thanks.

Parker and IMCO make marine 3 port electric fuel valves which also have manual override if power fails. The 2 port valves are Feed, Tank 1 and Tank 2. Have been unable to find a 4 port model.

Another method would be to use 3 electric shut off solenoids. The issue you run into is the manual override function. Most are designed without manual override function. Another issue is the size of supply fitting needed.

Can you say what your working on so we might get a bit closer to what will work?
