I moved the radio from in-dash to on top of the dash and reconnected the black and red wires to the same terminals. Yesterday, it went through the self-test fine and picked up traffic, but then after 5 minutes, the alarm (a series four beeps) would go off constantly. This morning, when it turns on, the self-test alarm alarm goes on instantly and there is a Check Plotter Demo message. Can anyone please tell me how to rest this unit, or what might be wrong? A Cobra support request has been unproductive so far. Thanks.
