I have a 1995 Sunbird Neptune and on my last trip out my fuel gauge reads zero when the key is on. I pulled up the panel to the sender unit and shorted the two wires out without any change in the gauge.
Without power applied it reads 1/2 as usual, as soon as the key is turned on it reads Empty. How do I test this gauge? I took a picture of the wiring if it will help. My trim gauge has a wire leading to the fuel gauge, probably positive power. There are 4 leads on the gauge.
