got myself a garmin 4dv striker fishfinder/gps, power cord comes with 4 wires red blue brown and black, a little help with wiring please. I'm guessing black is ground and I know the red is power but they don't give wiring diagram or instructions in the box. also the power cord is only six feet long so I have to splice it in somewhere. so where do I splice and whats the blue and brown wires for?

Has it got the sensor that gets mounted either fore or aft submerged

The brown and blue wires are to hook into a marine vhf radio or to another garmin unit to communicate woth each other.
