My father in law is a retired truck driver who loves navigating and driving trips etc. He's been boating for about 10 years and is up to a nice 21 foot Sea Ray. I finally have him convinced to get a marine GPS. He is 70+ and doesn't need a lot of complexity. No fishfinder or sonar needed. Just a good inland lakes map and large screen that is good in sunlight. Simple to use and not too expensive. Under $350 or so.
