Just as title states I have lost 12v to my powerhead and tilt/trim. My battery is charged, my connections are clean and tight, my main fuse is not blown. I dont know what else it could be. I have 12.6 volts on my battery side but I do not on my starter solenoid side. To my knowledge it is one wire from battery to starter solenoid. Also my circuit breaker in battery box is good. Any other ideas anyone???

There is main fuse under the hood that is probably blown. It is a heavy red wire with a black automotive fuse sleeve in it.

On that motor it is on port side by the cdi box I'm pretty sure.

This is a picture of the one on my 70 hp Johnson. The fuse is in the black rubber sleeve in the stainless clip.

Any idea what these wires go to the red one is tied in the harness and the other black one runs back down in the hull.

Also is the bottom small wire on the front of the starter solenoid supposed to be grounded to powerhead??? Never saw a starter solenoid with a ground on it.

I agree with bad fuse holder, the issue is in that wire.
