In your other post, you say the trim isn't working. Lets get the trim working before worrying about the gauge. OK?

I have a 2001 Rinker 192 Captiva. When I bought the boat the dealer told me the temp gauge wasn't working. They had installed another temp gauge separate from the vdo cluster. There was a buzzer behind the dash that came one and off constantly. I chased the wires and found that the new temp gauge had been wired through the buzzer. I unhooked the buzzer and when i did the mph gauge quit working. The trim gauge has never worked either. I can find a new vdo instrument panel online anywhere.

Does anyone have any suggestions or had this trouble? Any help would be appreciated.

Here here is a generic boat wiring diagram. Boats are generally very similar when it comes to instrument panel wiring. The trim gauge wiring is idential to the temp and fuel gauges. The sender for the trim gauge is mounted on the engine.
