I'm back to the well because I've gotten such helpful advice in the past.

I'm replacing the old tilt/trim solenoid on my '69 I/O. This is the solenoid for lifting the outdrive. The old one has cracked.

Before I order, I want to make sure I'm getting the right one. The old one says Phelon as the mfg and the # is W-90-00610. (I'm attaching two pictures.) The closest I've found is C-90-00610. Here is the ebay link http://www.ebay.com/itm/Starter-Sol...ine+Type:Outboard&hash=item3f52d4949d&vxp=mtr

Thanks!

Almost any solenoid will work, as long as the mounting hardware matches and it is rated for the voltage for the application..
