we have a 2006, 2450 Bayliner and we want to use a eb3800x Honda for shore power while its home and in a shed that does not have regular electricity, problem is as soon as I plug the boat to the generator the circuit breaker trips on gen set. I have put in a separate ground stake for the gen set, tried a common neutral plug on the outlets of the gen set because the boat has a floating neutral. every thing works fine when plugged into normal power , just a problem with generator
any suggestions ? thanks

Ayuh,..... How much Power does it put out,..??

My guess is, something that draws More power than the gen-set makes is turned "On",....

My son found a svc bulliten on the generator
It called for the removal of a jumper wire from the neutral to ground. Although this makes the generator non OSHA apposed for construction site work. It is working fine for powering the electrical system with a steady 120 ac volts
