When ya replace the interior of ya'll boats....do you use marine grade plywood or take some regular plywood and put some "Thompson" water seal on it?
Got a accent piece that is water logged and trying to up-date it. Its on the outer side next to the dog-house where all the skiers climb back in the boat. catches a lot of water.

TWS Is NOT a good product. Ext. Grade plywood will suffice. IF it was my boat I'd seal the wood using this homegrown sealer...

Of course the BEST method of sealing plywood is Epoxy and it's the most expensive. The Old Timer's sealer works really well and has been used by several members with Good success. Your boat...Your choice. Heck If you paint it with several coats of good ole' Rustoleum Oil Based Paint I'll last a LONG time.;)
