How do I identify my Starcraft?

I have a 14' Starcraft that I just recently purchased. I can't find any sort of ID on the boat, so I have no information on it. The motor is a 25hp Johnson. I plan to do a small-scale restoration on the boat to get it out and on the water this summer. Any information about the boat would be extremely useful! Thanks! 11102722_10204380413979344_5688108985900785076_n.jpg 11178262_10204380414219350_2853576753357387093_n.jpg

No Title

Here's some more photos. With the blue color (it seems to be original), I gathered that it might be a 66. I don't have any more pictures of the inside right now, but I will eventually!

Everything on the boat is super solid. From what I am getting, I think it's a 1966. Anybody oppose and why?

The only other year I think it could be is 1970, but the color doesn't seem right

A '66 would have 3 knee braces. In the picture of the stern I can see three sets of 4 bolts that corresponds to 3 knee braces.

Yeah, there's only 3 there. So if that's the case, is it for sure a 66?

Also, could the motor be original to the boat? Or is it too new?

Seeing that the motor has a tiller handle on it, I would say it is not original. It should have a model number on it that will ID the year.

Nice looking boat. Welcome to the Starmada :welcome::D

Where in Michigan are you? Or are you exporting from the State?

Good point about the tiller, 64osby. And thanks! I bet you'll never guess how much I paid for it, either! And I'm in Big Rapids going to school right now, originally from Cedar Springs.

$300 is my final guess. ;)

Make it legal with the state, looks like it's been a while since it been registered. Fix it up and go have fun.

You might keep and eye out for a bigger OB for her.

I'll wave as I drive by tomorrow. Heading up north of Cadillac for the trout opener this weekend.

Damn you're good, $300 on the dot. Boat trailer and all. I already got the registration, going to re-wire the trailer, throw in a new battery, mount the seats, and it should be good!

Hey I won $500. I'll PM my address.

Awesome deal for a water ready package, also allows $$$ for the repairs / upgrades.

Exactly! I like the old look, so I don't want to do too much to it. I just wish the seats were original! Oh well, if I come across some close to the original's, I may have to snag them!
