Here you go guys, this is going to be my restoration project in the upcoming spring. This is my 1960 Aroliner cabinaire with a 25 hp gale pull start motor. Boat was gutted when I purchased it last fall. I paid $700.00 Canadian for this beauty. Planning on serious modifications including flat floor, installing a live well and 12 gallon fuel tank. Also going to put elbow grease in and mirror finish the aluminum and repaint the interior. Already have hydraulic steering to replace the pulley system, Cant wait for the cold and snow to leave so i can start

She is a handsome tank, MB. Meant in the kindest way, you know. The top has some great lines and the curve from gunnel up the side of the top and the pinched bustle top is very becoming. She's no tank, she's gorgeous! Hurry up Springtime. :D

There have been quite a few Gale and Buccaneer sales brochures and ads popping up on ebay lately. Might do a search and find an original ad for that motor. Help you ID an original color scheme or at least which parts of the cowl were painted the same colors.

Good luck, I see some sanding, filling and repeat in your future.

I'm on the hunt for a decent Buccaneer 25hp OB myself. Might end up w/ a Gale instead.

I'm more of a old tin purist type, so my eye is prejudiced towards matching vintage motors to the tin at hand. Although from what I see the hood on these motors could use some help with maybe some pin stripes or something to make them pop.
