This is a 1979 ss 18 my son and I rebuilt last summer, was having trouble with iboats and couldn't figure out how to start a new thread, so better late than never, the PO had started the restore with a new transum, new floor and supplied new vinyl for the floor, new carpeting a gallon of glue, but he decided to quit the restore and bought a new Lund 19 foot fisherman, we bought it in Rochester MN for 2200.00 US.

Aaaaaaawwwww.

What's the fun in that....you got it done before we even began to debate battery placement yet.

But as always - an amazing restoration.

Every time I follow one of your rebuilds I see 4 or 5 different things I want to do to my SS. If she was still in pieces in my garage I could never get her back together because of all the great ideas I pick up from you. When I do bring her back in for a true rebuild I'm going to respectfully request you please don't post any of your rebuilds until after mine is completed. That way I can stay focused on one set of ideas, and get her completed!

I'm only kidding! You do amazing work in a crazy short amount of time. It is true you seem to be able to give each boat upgrades that should be standard on almost any fishing, or fish and ski setup out there. I really like them all!:encouragement: You and your son do great work!
