Gonna start removing the old 88/85's and install a 225 Mercury.
At first it's going to go slow as I'm fitting the job in between working on my Suburban and various jobs I pick up.
Will start with a few before pics.

No Title

I did this job once before.
Didn't think to get any pics until the job was through.
The dash and equipment came from the previous boat I repowered.
The motor and the transom went bad.
Luckily I kept all the parts except the oil jug.(anyone have one they want to give away))

Definitely NOT a speed demon.
The most I'd probably get out of the 225 is about 45-50.
That's actually about 18-20 more than I get now.
The twins at it's best was about 31-32mph.
Cruising was about 25.
The 225 has about 3 times the horses but will use about 1/2 the fuel.
The twins are gonna need T/T pumps $$$ and the stuff holding them together won't be easy to take apart.
They will need new trim cylinders and shocks.
So I'm starting with a partial disassembly of the new one. To clean and lube and make sure no problems will be forthcoming.
I have a bunch of old parts so I'm way ahead of the game.

I'll ALWAYS be a Force fan.
Just looking to get a bit newer and a bit better on fuel.
Plus the deal I got on the motor was too good to pass up.
