Can this be used as peanut butter?
It's all they had at a local marine supply house.

Yes but..Cabosil is the best. This stuff contains Talc and that's not optimum for marine use especially when using Polyester Resin. If you're using Epoxy then it's fine. Talc will absorb water and Polyester resin does have a tendency to osmosize water just a bit. Having said all that, using it to fill voids in your tansom and for fillets around the transom etc. should be ok since we're HOPING those areas won't be seeing a lot of water emersion in the very near future!!!!:D

Marpro makes cab-o-sil also, see if they have that.

Where I bought it from that's all they had, would have have to order it.
yes woodend Iam using on transom to fill some void but I got it pretty tight.it's just to fill in mostly where I rounded off the corner s like I mentioned in other post.
I just I'll try it out sense I got it here.

Oh, it WILL do the job, but like I said it's just not the Optimum product. You never want to use a filler with Talc in areas that will be exposed to total water emersion for long periods of time. It WILL allow water penetration via osmosis!!! No doubt about it.;)
