What is this plastic thing on the bottom of my boat?

Sorry, I wasn't thinking of sealing the hole completely, just how to go about sealing the plastic fitting after I have laid in the glass. The fitting is actually 2 pieces as I am sure you are probably aware. But then again maybe sealing it up completely with fiberglass and relocating it is something to be considered. You are right Mike...it is a glass boat. As always....Thanks,

Dan

I don't need or want a live well.

That's crazy talk man!... how the hell are you going to keep your fish alive???:D

I'm sure they must make a plug you can buy to cover that hole after you remove the fitting, but a google search didn't turn up anything I liked and there would be the possibility of it failing or getting broken.

For an infallible repair on that hole after the fitting is removed I suggest patching it like in this thread:

I'm allergic to fish. So I release everything. But I suppose someone may want to bring one back.
