Small Hull Repair on 2008 sea ray 185 sport

Hi all,

I have a 2008 sea ray sport 185... i managed to knock the hull off my trailer at the weekend in rough weather. I've attached a very close up photo of the scratch its about 3 inches long.

whats the best way to go about this repair... is there a kit i can buy to match the exact sea ray colour... how do i know the exact colour i have is there a code or something i need?

Yep, contact Sea Ray and they can give you That info. Spectrum Gelcoat Makes Gelcoat repair kits for specific gels so you should be able to get pretty close. Be advised however that in 6 years it has faded and oxidized and you will need to do some blending to get it exact. The scratch will also need to be dremeled out and widened a bit in order for the Gelcoat paste repair to effectively adhere to the surface.
