Welcome to the forum TJ. A circular saw set to a depth slightly less than the thickness of the deck works well. Cut in both directions and use a pry bar to remove. Be sure to check the stringers for moisture/rot and while you're in there and engine supports if it's an IO. We thrive on pictures here so we know what we're dealing with.
