Will a weak spark cause an engine not to start? I have done everything on the list to revive a big twin except for the coils. (Am I answering my own question? :) )
I have a small white spark on each plug. I am getting fuel to the carb.

I have 2- 57 Johnson's and when I went through them, the coils were cheap insurance, and almost a no brainer. I don't have any idea if this is your cause, but they are not very expensive to buy.

I think that weak spark is a problem. Replace the coils as greenbush suggested then go from there.

You could try spraying oil/fuel mix into the cylinders and see if she fires??? NOT ETHER, it doesn't have any oil for lubrication in it.
