I have flex trim fitted around the cutouts in the fiber glass (1/4") like where your legs go, bilge area etc. The trim vibrates off after a few trips. I believe this stuff is supposed to stay on just from clamping force but the trim is old and it doesn't stay on. What kind of glue/sealant/silicone would you guys use to secure this?
Also, around all the live wells and storage wells there is a similar hard flex trim that is fitted and it's fine but then there is like a soft rubber/foam ovel type tubing trim that is hollow in the middle that is a water seal that goes on top of the hard flex trim. That stuff is in good shape but it's falling off as the glue has deteriorated. What would be the proper glue to use for this?
