Intentional hole in bow?

Hi all, newbie here.
Just bought a 1991 Glastron G22. It has a hole with what looks like a tiny pvc pipe in the bow in the hull. (see pictures). What's this all about? It's just a bit smaller than a dime.

What's on the inside of the boat where this enters? that is most likely the answer, live well for fishing? or cooler compartment drain would be good guesses. Doesn't look factory looks like "owner modified".

Thanks. I'll look up above. might just eliminate it when I work on the hull.
