Hi, i'm hearing different things on restoration of vinyl, have anyone had experience with restoring vinyl without reupholstering? i'm being told that this can be done but i have my doubts. as i understand damaged part is being sanded down and "repainted" with liquid marine vinyl and textured to match rest. i've been told that bow can be done like that and top of engine cover needs to be reupholstered.
