I'm repairing the floor in a 94 180 Celebrity. I removed the stringers around the gas tank and up to the ski stow, front and back bulkheads, and finally reached a point where the wood was less than 50% rotten. I am choosing to at this point to sister in some new plywood next to the half rotten stuff.

What is the preferred filler to use I'm thinking not bondo. What do I need to order to mix with poly to fillet and put under and around the ends of new stringers?

Rot is cancer. Your damage will extend well past where you think it does. You are dealing with a 20 year old boat.

IMHO, you are trying to prolong a more serious rebuild giving what is bad a chance to only get worse. I would NOT recommend Bondo or scabbing in something next to cancerous stringers. You need to completely remove the bad stuff, not cover it up. You don't want to spend good money only to have it fail within the first year.

Post some pictures and will get sound advice and detailed info on how to fix it correctly.
