1990 Invader 20' restoration need help identifying a few things

:facepalm:Hello all! I am new to the boating community and about 5 years ago I picked up a train wreck of a boat and decided to start fixing all the issues... Long story short.. I fully restored it and I am now trying to figure out how a few things went back in..

One issue is the throttle control box as seen in a photobucket picture . I know its a quicksilver control on an Alpha One Mercruiser. How does the control box goes back into the side panel? I think it was straight up and down with the cables coming out of the bottom? Quicksilver 1000 Commander I do believe?

Also is there a wiring diagram for ignition switches? I built a new modern looking dash with guages and bought a new switch but it has 4 connections, not three as in the old with no labeling of what wire goes where?

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... Sweeet lookin' barge,.... The original color is my ole lady's Favorite,...

The controller usually points the cables Aft, towards where their headed,...
Stick straight up, 'n down,...

If yer old switch is 3 posts, 1 is Power from the battery,....
1 is the Ignition "On" post,...
The other is the Start post, to the starter circuit,...

The 4th position on the new switch is probably Accessory,...

That wirin' looks Scary,... Head down to the Electrical forum, there stickies there with Great Info,...

In the Mercruiser forum at the top, is Don'S Adults Only section, with Great info, 'n links to manuals for yer motor, 'n drive,...
